Are you feeling round like an apple? Or are you feeling more like a pear? Men tend to hold excess fat around the middle - any measurement over 95cm is a serious health risk. Women tend to hold excess fat around the hips and lower belly - any measurement over 100 cm is a serious health risk. A lot of people live with this ticking time bomb - but DONT HAVE TO!

Nutrition, Diet and Exercise are very important aspects of our lives. We all know how it feels to be a little overweight (or sometimes underweight), tired and lethargic, have slow recovery from injury or a general lack of motivation. Do you find it hard to keep up with the kids? Do you find it hard to concentrate at work? Do you crave foods? Are you unsure what to eat? Do you have changing emotions? Do you feel hot or cold?

A lot of these symptoms and feelings may come from a lack of adequate nutrition. If we have a deficit of certain nutrients (or too much) this can greatly affect our wellbeing and the way our bodies function.

So, how can you find out whether your body is in balance on a nutritional level? The answer is to have a consultation with a qualified nutritionist.

The initial consultation is a requirement for each individual so we can determine which is the best option for you. A dietary history and body profile is developed to allow a personalized program to be prepared for you

A nutritional dietary assessment may be appropriate for the individual who is interested in what their nutritional intake is and whether imbalances are present. This can be especially helpful when recovering from illness, preparing for sporting competitions, for weight management or for those who need an edge in life.

If you need a more in depth evaluation, our resident Naturopath is available - please see tab

** Please Note - we offer nutritional services - Not dietitians. If you have a referral to see a dietitian or are on an EPC plan we are unable to assist you under a bulk billing program **
